Nutella Banana Bread

Juicy and very tasty! The classic American dessert "Banana Bread", which is made with mashed ripe bananas and hazelnut praline. Nutella or Merenda. Choose whatever you like, the fact is that this cake is particularly tasty, juicy texture and strong flavor.

Banana Bread
"Banana bread" first became a standard feature of American Dessert Cookbooks, with the popularity that took the use in Confectionery soda and baking powder in the decade of 1930.
In 1933 he appeared in a Pillsbury's cookbook cook. Later became widely known and gained greater acceptance by the recipe book "Chiquita Banana's Recipe Book" of 1950.

Ingredints (8 pieces)

  • 130 gr corn oil
  • 60 gr butter
  • 2 eggs, large or 3 small
  • 200 gr sugar blonde
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 200 gr flour self raising
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 bananas, ripe
  • 4-5 tbsp nutella, or chocolate spread, in room temperature
  • 2 tbsp almond net
  • icing sugar for dusting
In a large bowl mix the oil, melted butter without it being hot, eggs, sugar and vanilla.


In a separate bowl mix the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.
With whisk or hand mixer beat well the egg mixture.
You add, stirring, tablespoons of the flour mixture until homogeneous mixtures of the two.
In a plate you press, with a fork, bananas to mashed and put them one by one at a beaten mixture, stirring with each banana addition.
Pour the mixture into well greased and floured oblong form.
From above add tablespoons nutella. If it is too thick, put it for a few seconds in the microwave to thin.
Swinging a knife to mix slightly the nutella with a cake batter.
Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (356°F, 4 Gas), with resistance up and down for 60'-65' or until it comes out clean the blade of a knife.
If you get color quickly, cover with aluminum foil, which is removed at the end.
When cool, sprinkle the surface with a little icing sugar.
