work: 20′ time: 1h:00′ easy:

Ingredients (5 servings)

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 150 gr (5.3 oz) bacon
  • 50 gr (1.8 oz) grated gruyere
  • 50 gr (1.8 oz) grated gouda
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, pepper, paprika
Peel, wash and wipe the potatoes and cut them into slices 3-4 mm, making sure to not separate. A practical way is to put two chopsticks or two knives underneath, so the knife will not penetrate through.
Slice the bacon into smaller pieces and place a small piece in each slot.
Sprinkle with olive oil, salt well and sprinkle with pepper and paprika.
Wrap each potato in foil and bake in the oven at 200°C (356°F, Gas 4.2) for 35'-40'.
Carefully remove the potatoes from the oven, test with a fork, if they soften and cook…
…remove the foil and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Put them back for a while, 5'-6', in the grill of the oven, until the get browned and the cheese melts.
