Sour Cream Tart
Simple tart, made easy, with the main ingredients, the sour cream and marzipan. A thin layer of powdered sugar gives it other than sweet taste, and a decorating idea. Thin, wavy golden brown crust surrounds and holds the delicious filling.

Sour Cream Tart

Ingredients (8 servings)

  • 500 ml (1.1 lbs) sour cream
  • 200 gr (7.1 oz) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 130 gr (4.6 oz) biscuits
  • 100 gr (3.5 oz) almond powder
  • 1 lemon, zest
  • icing sugar for dusting
In the mixer bowl, put the sugar, eggs and lemon zest and beat well until it becomes a thick paste.
Add the sour cream and whisk together vigorously to swell and fluffy ~7'.
Break with your hands the biscuits into small pieces and add to the mix cream/egg.
Mix.
Finally add the almonds and beat for very little until the incredients incorporated.

The Crust

  • 4 phyllo-pastry sheets
  • 60 gr butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
Butter the base of a tartiere and lay the sheets one to one buttered and sprinkled with a little sugar and a little cinnamon.
In the last sheet do not sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.
Inside tartiere pour the mixture…
…and cut around many sheets are excess leaving a small margin around.
Put the pan in the oven, in the penultimate rack and bake the tart at 180°C (356°F, Gas 4.2) for 35'-40'.
If it picks color quickly, cover with a foil.

If you like raisins, you can add them, at the end, to the stuffing.
