BLT Dip

Ingredients (1 bowl)

  • 150 gr (5.3 oz) mayonnaise
  • 100 gr (3.5 oz) sour cream, thick
  • 200 gr (7.1 oz) bacon, smoked
  • 1 large tomato or 2 small
  • a little lettuce
  • crackers for serving
Cut the tomatoes in two, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Put them in a colander to drain well.
Chop the bacon into very small dices.
Put in a non-stick pan, without adding fat, and roast them well until browned and crisp. Stir regularly and do not move from the pan.
In a medium sized bowl add the mayonnaise and place the sour cream.
Keep aside a little bit of tomato and bacon for the decoration and the rest add to mixing bowl. Stir, taste and add a little more cream. Put the dip in the refrigerator.
