Baklava

Baklava
Traditional Baklava, with 40 thin phyllo pastry sheets, with the fragrant and tasty stuffing of roasted walnuts and almonds. Butter gives an excellent aroma and the phyllo pastry sheets creaks the crust in every bite. The syrup is completely absorbed by the baked Baklava and fine semolina swells and gives it volume.
For that baklava, I can write more, particularly praise…

Christmas Stuffed Turkey

Christmas Stuffed Turkey
Christmas turkey stuffed with a filling without giblets or minced meat. A filling with tasty rice, mixed with nuts, such as cashews and fresh chestnuts, and dried fruits like cranberries, raisins and dates! Filling, on which will not say no and will be so tasty, that in the end you will want to eat just the stuffing. Or at least it happened at our own table. The filling is more preferred than the turkey itself.
Essential orange aromas, wine aromas, spices and mustard cooked with the turkey in a roasting pan and give great taste.

Bolognese Sauce-Stuffed Lumaconi

Bolognese Sauce-Stuffed Lumaconi
The Bolognese sauce is a ragout -in the Italian version- slow cooked, which is made with meat chunks or minced. The heavy cast-iron pan is ideal for this kind of food in slow cooking.
Known to us all as "spaghetti with meat" may have a more delicious flavor, a more imaginative presence and why not, more festive!
We choose to accompany the Bolognese sauce with any pasta we prefer, tagliatelle or spaghetti. The Kitchen Stories proposes shells Lumaconi, filled with this wonderful sauce and sprinkled with parmesan.

Greek Walnut Spice Cake

Greek Walnut Spice Cake
This cake is usually festive, syrupy sweet, traditionally made in Greek kitchens during major holidays but also for family names.
The cake I suggest is slightly syrupy, with less walnut, 2 eggs, with Greek yogurt with olive oil and basic, without mixer. Mix the ingredients with a spoon and ready for the furnace. The flavor and its aroma are intensified by the addition of spices and orange zest.
