CHANIA Harbour & Old Town

Chania is one of the oldest towns in Crete, with a rich and eventful history. Today is the second largest city of the island, a city that has preserved its traditional architecture in the most part, and especially in the old town and most of the monuments from the time of the Venetians and the Turks preserved and displayed.
The Venetian harbor with its lighthouse and the old city center have given Chania the reputation of the most picturesque town in Crete, which hosts thousands of visitors every year.
Chania is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Greece, both for Greeks and for foreign visitors. Attracting so many visitors from around the world just is not by chance, as Chania combines incredible natural beauty with a rich history and important cultural tradition with good tourist infrastructure.

A return to our old cherished sites and our old walk is always a very loved, very important destination. It reminds us of our youth, our carefree outlook on life, the bohemian lifestyle and erstwhile our culture. Having lived nearly 10 years of our lives in Paris we feel and deal with emotion and sensitivity as our second home. Not missing the opportunity, whenever she allow us to do this rejuvenation journey, joy and wellness. Whatever it is written below you should know that it will be influenced by the love we have for this city, it will be a completely personal opinion and of course less impartial.
The first part of the "tour" concerns only a small part of the culinary theme of nutrition and food in general. The wide variety of goods often outsourced from afar, rare or not, cheap or expensive. There will be a second with what I have to show you about Paris and hope to complete the journey there without becoming tedious.

It's unique sense of experiencing again situations and experiences which he had once known. It's like a trip back in time, or as if you never missed! All have changed, everything to stay the same, untouched and unchanged from wear. Do you turn the corner and fall onto your favorite Coffee Shop, Creperie and Restaurant, a small oven neighborhood famed for its superb French baguette and its croissant, your old neighborhoods, unique buildings, bridges, palaces, museums, churches, parks, gardens, squares. The «Art Nouveau» Metro stations are very few (one or two) with their old glazed roof, your school and the wonderful endless paths and walks along the banks of the Seine, the most beautiful river of the land! To remember the times when you came here, near the «Pont des Arts» loaded with pencils and your papers to impressions in sketches with pencils colored the opposite side, where so far, and this was the south wing of the Louvre in the color of memory and sepia! Autumn season, to have fallen the tree leaves to be able to see the whole building without it hiding behind the foliage, a season that the leaves have paved a yellow carpet on the cobblestones of the bank and the air drifts them away like memories …

Travel to China

The much talked about, trip to China was a lifelong dream and became a family affair to get it to be realized. Discussed months ago, decided, planned, initiated and completed in October of '15. Preparations for this trip were quite lengthy, as had become a series of procedures not only bureaucratic forms, passport, visa, etc., and timing, tour desk, problem details, selection of cities and interesting, the most important tourist destinations, as though programming vaccines etc…
We traveled to five Chinese cities using planes, high speed trains (300 km/h) and Maglev Train (magnetic train with a speed of 430 km/h and the distance of 30 km from the city of Shanghai to the airport covered just 8') and ship. It was more concentrated in terms of journey trips, we had ever done. The posture and movement alterations were short and dense between them, and the vast distances and the images and information bombing.
We discovered places of incredible beauty and unique presence, tasted authentic Chinese Cuisine, we walked for hours, soaking up the secrets of the Imperial Forbidden City, we admired the size of the vanity of the Emperor and the Terracotta Army, climbed to all yellow rice fields, along with the long-suffering local population, and wondered upon the ramparts of oversized Great Wall. We crossed sailing 83 km along the reaches of the beautiful Li River, a gallery of nature. We saw fishermen to fish using trained cormorants, we bike ride on a fortification wall 700 years (Ming Dynasty in 1370), we enjoyed our evenings beautifully lit banks of lakes and tastefully designed parks, the sound of Chinese music in clean cities. Mixed in with a bustling crowd, were guided by lovely gardens with old trees, sacred pagodas, world heritage sites, museums, markets, we felt the Economic "Heart" of China beating at a rapid pace and more. We have seen the history passing before us the best moments of the human species but "heard" the moan of all those that struggled to make all.
Today I present only part of the culinary, diverse and multiethnic Chinese Kitchen without words and without the special tasty choices of some Chinese, which are far from ours and may cause feelings of aversion.

The land, buildings, salaries, wages, supermarket prices, rent, food, entertainment, health, insurance, transportation and many other "dance" at their own pace. The only thing free is Museums. Thus we have the opportunity to enjoy amazing things, what the british empire gathered all these years.
Besides all the above, London is a popular destination and whenever possible I do not lose the opportunity for a trip.
