Feta Cheese Breadsticks
These breadsticks are so delicious, reminiscent intense in the taste our famous bagels of the city Thessaloniki. They are easy to make, incorporating into a dough butter, milk and feta cheese. The coriander fragrance breadsticks with its own special fragrance. Shape into sticks and finished. If we want we can try and another combination of flavors depending on our inspiration.

Feta Cheese Breadsticks

Ingredients (16-18 breadsticks)

  • 400 g (14.1 oz) cake flour, sifted
  • 150 g (5.3 oz) butter, room temperature
  • 80 g (2.8 oz) milk
  • 250 g (8.8 oz) feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • sesame
In large bowl collect all the ingredients except the sesame seeds. Pour the milk and knead for a little while, it is sufficient to incorporate the components together and become a mixture.
If the dough needs more moisture beat on a plate a little egg white and add.
You gather the dough into a ball, cover and refrigerate for 30'.
Cut the dough into walnut size pieces and make balls. Shape into strings as thin you prefer.
You roll them on a lot of sesame to stick enough of it on them.
Place the sticks in the pan, on a release paper, and spaced.
Bake at 180°C (356°F, Gas:4.2) for 35'-40'. If you prefer them more crunching, let 5'-6' in the oven with the oven switched off.
