Ideal appetizer, excellent taste to combine on your table with Tyrokafteri (Spicy Feta Cheese Spread), that is as hot as we like. Accompany your appetite with beer or raki, without excluding a good red wine.
Ripe, delicious & bright red tomatoes are combined with the aromas of basil and mint and that's it. They don't need anything else to become a delicious appetizer except, perhaps, a homemade cheese sauce. Tomatoes ripe, tasty and bright red are joined with the aromas of basil and mint, that's all. They do not need anything else to make a scrumptious appetizer except, perhaps, by a homemade spicy cheese dip, with lovely soft feta of Kefalonia, with its velvety taste and texture and of course… french fries!

Tomatoes are the essence of summer and having the privilege of finding them easily on the benches of our markets or on our garden, we can use them in a multitude of recipes.
For this recipe we need tomatoes that are at the peak of their maturity. Red, juicy, all together, small, medium, large, pizza-style in a puff pastry, sprinkled with the unique balsamic flavor, sprinkled with salt and a few fresh basil leaves. They come in the oven to brown for a while, so that they become crisp and crumbly at the same time.
You will like this tart, eaten as an appetizer but as your main dish too, with a green salad and cold beer.

Fresh Dip of Tzatziki

The traditional Greek Tzatziki is the most famous dish of Greek Cuisine and of our favorite summer dishes. Variations are also known throughout middle east.
The Fresh Dip of Tzatziki contains sheep's greek yoghurt and fresh cucumber grated. The refreshing taste makes it a perfect companion for a variety of dishes, such as roasted, fried or raw vegetables, various vegetable meatballs (tomato balls, zucchini fritters, κ.λπ.) stuffed vines leaves, grilled meat, oven french fries or baked stuffed vegetables, as well as a basic ingredient in our favorite Greek kebab or fresh bread.
The ultimate dominant in the accompanying and appetizers is the wonderful, intense and fresh taste, with very spicy presence of garlic to balance perfectly with velvet yogurt and herbs!
