Feta Cheese Bread - Tyropsomo

Feta Cheese Bread - Tyropsomo
Traditional Cheese bread/Cheese pie with a spiral-shaped slice, combining the shape of a circle and its dynamic movement, symbolizes Time. As part of the smooth endless line it also symbolizes the development, continuity, pace of breathing and life itself. It becomes our own consciousness to accept the turns, the changes and the evolution of life.
Usually the old housewives this cheese-making made it by holding a little of the dough with which they made their bread with the classical technique of the natural yeast… then came the ready-made yeast, fresh or dried and of course the quick way of our life to make us forget the existence of the primitive process of maturation of the mother yeast…

We preferred for filling the fresh Manouri this extraordinary traditional Greek cheese with its origins dating back to ancient times. It belongs to the category of soft whey cheeses and is produced mainly in Central and Western Macedonia, Thessaly and Crete, having been designated by the Greek National Milk Commission as "the most excellent traditional Greek whey cheese".
It is distinguished by its sweet and mild taste, aroma and texture. Manouri, while considered ideal for the preparation of appetizers, is widely used in a variety of hot or cold, sweet or salty, mainly dessert meals.
Here in these triangular pancakes it was perfect with the Fylo pastry sheets remaining firm, enclosing the cheese.

Vegetarian Burgers in combination with the almost essential cheese and egg protein to give these alternative burgers the necessary dietary dynamics for a relatively dietetic dish of «different burgers without a lot of remorse»…
Portobello mushrooms, broccoli, corn, breadcrumbs are some of the key ingredients. They are flavored with the British origin of Worcestershire sauce, with coriander seeds, flaxseed, onion and garlic. They are made delicious, easy to digest and all this is a deliberate alternative to replacing minced meat.

Goat Cheese Crostini with Prosciutto & Figs

Goat Cheese Crostini with Prosciutto and Figs
Tuscany is a region of Central Italy with beautiful landscapes, verdant countryside, splendid cities and villages and a unique ambiance. For example San Gimignano, which dominates the top of a hill, is one of Italy's best preserved medieval cities. But above all, there is the capital of Florence, which attracts millions of visitors for many reasons… but for their taste too.
Staying to recollect trips and wanderings, which year after year dwindle, I did not fail to bring in my memory and in our Kitchen, Tuscany, narrating another culinary history, making crostini with crispy bread, fresh goat cheese, fresh figs, strawberry jam, and exquisite prosciutto, all sprinkled like fine rain with the unique balsamico di Modena!
A bold savory-sweety combination of ingredients, scents, flavors & textures that will travel us and that our taste buds will keep it for a long time… forever I would dare say.

Ham and Cheese Souffle

What, I am proposing is a savory souffle, with toast bread, ham, cheese, milk and eggs.
Soufflé is a kind of cake savory or sweet. It is delicious, fluffy and airy. Each bite is a light and tasteful delight.
Successful combination, delicious results, too many calories, so make sure to eat a small amount even if it's very delicious.
The word soufflé is the past participle of the French verb souffler, which means among other things puff, blow, breathe etc.

Prosciutto and Melon

Prosciutto and Melon
Today's simple dish is a classic example of "Prosciutto e Melone" ie Prosciutto and Melon, which we enjoy in our own table and not only when we travel to our neighboring country, Italy.
It should by accompanied by Prosecco, a slightly sweet, sparkling Italian wine. It has a slight fruity aroma with a touch of sweetness, but still very cool courtesy of the bubbles.
