Oven French Fries

Just like french fries, with the same great taste, only better. Because they are missing all the fat and calories.
They are ready in 20'-30', depending on the temperature of the oven and the quantity of potatoes.
Add spices you prefer and get the delicious flavour you can't with the fried version.
work: 00:10' time: 00:40' easy: 2/5

Ingredients (6 portions)

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp mustard or mustard powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • paprica
  • oregano
  • turmeric
  • coriander seed powder
  • a baking sheet
Peel and wash the potatoes. Four, large potatoes are enough to fill a large baking pan in single layer. Add more if you prefer, just let them some more time in the oven.
Dry well using kitchen paper and cut them, at the size you would cut for frying, directly into the baking pan lined with a baking sheet.
Add the olive oil and mix for all the potatoes to get oiled. Sprinkle with spices* and mix again.
Place the pan in the oven at 180°C/ 350°F/ 4 Gas Mark in air for 20'-30'. When ready remove from the oven and while they are still hot we can sprinkle with grated cheese of our choice.
You will enjoy the most delicious and light, french fries you can imagine. You will be amazed!
*Put any condiments you prefer. In the "Ingredients" you can see what we prefer.

  2. Que buena pinta. Yo siempre corto para un plato parecido las papas en rodajas, y no se me había ocurrido hacer el corte tradicional de las patatas frita.
