Bacon Wrapped Prawns

Prawns marinated and wrapped in smoked bacon with a small strip of roasted yellow pepper and lightly grilled.
Easy and tasty appetizer, made ​​in a short time to enjoy with a cold white wine or a cold beer.

Ingredients (10 pieces)

  • 10 prawns
  • 40 ml olive oil
  • ½ lime, juice
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • salt & pepper
Peel the prawns and put in a small bowl with a lid.
Brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with lime juice.
Finally add the garlic, salt and pepper. Mix.
Cover the bowl with it's lid and refrigerate to marinate for an hour.
Take the prawns from the refrigerator, remove from the marinade and place them on a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
Slice the pepper in thin strips. Cut the bacon slices in two.
Wrap every prawn with pepper and bacon slice. Fasten with a toothpick, place on a foil and grill in the oven.
Turn the oven grill in the medium position and bake for 7'-8'.
Serve and enjoy.
