Marinated Salmon Fillets
Roast fillet of fresh salmon, marinated in a tasty and spicy sauce made from soy sauce, green onion, crushed garlic, hot red chilli pepper and ginger. The total time -preparation and baking to have served ready to our table- is only 40'. To remain juicy and irresistibly delicious bake only 10'-15'.
The dish has its own story to the delicious offerings of our two kitchens, with several tests -since everybody likes salmon- to become a family affair and to create what we now recommend only to you as a first publication. All kudos belong to the younger family chef, in her the only.

 Marinated Salmon Fillets

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 2×250g (2×8.8 oz) fresh salmon fillets
  • half lemon or lime, juice & zest
  • 2 green onions, small
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger fresh or powder or pickled
In small ovenproof oven dish, chop the spring onions, garlic mashed, the spicy chili and lemon peel chopped.
Add the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, ginger and lemon juice or lime.
Mix well and add the salmon fillets and roll them to be well covered on all sides with marinade mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 20′.
Bake (without rolling) with the skin side down and covered with the marinade, in a preheated oven at 200℃ (392℉, Gas Mark:5.7)In air for 15′. Accompanied by an insalata caprese & dry white wine.
