Cocktail Sausages with Sauce

Cocktail sausages wrapped in crunchy bacon and dipped in a delicious pink sauce of mayonnaise with ketchup.
This is a simple, easy, spicy and quick to make snack, for a group of friends or family, to escort the drinks of your choice.

Ingredients (20 pieces)

  • 20 cocktail sausages
  • 5 slices bacon
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 20 toothpicks
Cook the sausages for 2'-3'.
Drain and let cool.
Cut the bacon into four, if the slices are large. Wrap each strip of bacon around the sausages. Fasten with a toothpick and place in ovenproof dish.
Bake on grill for 10 minutes until the bacon becomes golden and crunchy.
Meanwhile prepare the sauce by mixing ketcup with mayonaise. Stir and taste. Add a little by little to get the desired color and flavor.

  3. They look delicious. I also use mayonnaise and ketchup for a dip, but I always chop a small chillie into as well with a little cider vinegar. Just gives it a bit of kick :) Diane
