Crab meat -from a can, missing fresh- with avocados, slightly sour apple, mayonnaise and pink sweet spicy pepper are the key ingredients for this salad.
The delicate flavor of crab meat in a fresh salad. Taste great and very tasty. Delights the palate and leaves us with a pleasant dining experience. Try it accompanied with iced white wine.

Crab and Avocado Salad

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 can of grab meat (170 gr net weight)
  • ½ yellow apple
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 120 gr (4.2 oz) mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp horseradish sauce
  • 1 tbsp pinκ pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finelly chopped
  • ½ shot of vinegar
  • ½ shot of olive oil
  • salt
Peel to apple and avocado and cut into dice, not too small.
Assemble them in medium sized bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Open the can of crab meat and put the contents into a colander with paper inside which is wrapped the meat. Let it drain well and then pour it in the bowl of ingredients. Add the mayonnaise, pink pepper, parsley and horseradish.
Mix with finesse, taste and add salt.
You could even seal the ingredients in a clean glass jar or bottle and shake to combine. Place the crab to a serving platter and drizzle with vinaigrette. Sprinkle a few grains of pink pepper and decorate with a leaf maintanou.
