Pasta in the Oven

Noodles cooked in the oven with eggs milk and cheese.
Hearty and easy dish for busy people or for those who don't like spending time in the kitchen.
Accompanied by a simple green salad of your choice.

Pasta in the Oven

Ingredients (4 portions)

  • 1 cup thin noodles
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 cups/ 750 ml milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • salt & pepper
  • some butter for the pan
Brush an ovenproof dish with a little butter.
Spread across the bottom of the pot the raw noodles.
In a bowl add the milk eggs, nutmeg, pepper and ⅔ of the cheese. We keep the remaining ⅓ for later.
Beat lightly the egg mix and pour over the noodles.
Sprinkle the surface with the remaining cheese.
Bake in the oven at 180°C/ 350°F/ Gas Mark 4 for 30'-35' until it rises and gets a golden color.
Pasta in the Oven Tasty, quick and easy. We must have good quality and very thin noodles.
