Chicken Wings

Chicken Wings with aromatic Jamaican touch! Delicious, easy and frugal dish.
Grilled wings in the oven, very tasty thanks to the blend of spices, which gives them a spicy and exotic flavor. Easily made and perfectly matched with Oven Fried Potatoes.

Ingredients (3 servings)

  • 800g (1.8 lbs) (∼10) chicken wings
  • spice blend / ★Jamaican Jerk Spice
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into bite-size
  • 1 tbsp turmeric, optional
  • salt

★Jamaican jerk spice

  • 1 tbsp dried thyme or oregano
  • 1 tsp allspice, ground
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp cilantro, chrushed
  • 1 tsp ginger, powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp cinnamon, powder
  • ½ tsp nutmeg, powder
  • ½ tsp clove, powder
  • ½ tsp cumin, powder
  • 2 tsp salt
In a large bowl add the wings washed, drained and wiped with paper towels. Sprinkle them with two tablespoons olive oil and powder with a good dose of spice blend / Jamaican Jerk Spice, we have prepared.
Mix condiments to go everywhere. You may have to throw some salt. Place them in a double sheet of foil, one next to another.
Leave them aside for a while until you prepare the potatoes.
In the same bowl add the cut ​​potatoes and sprinkle with the remaining two tablespoons of olive oil. Powser with the same mixture of spices in smaller quantities, and with turmeric.
Lay the large pan in the oven with nonstick paper and spread over it the potatoes. In one corner of the pan and put the aluminum foil with the wings.
Bake in oven at 190°C (374°F, Gas 5) for ~30'-35'. Halfway through cooking turn the wings on the other side. Towards the end put them in the grill for a while.
