Turkey with Mashed Potatoes

Turkey with tomato sauce in a saucepan with plenty of onions, accompanied with colorful puree handmade ​​with fresh ingredients!
In the market you can find turkey cuts: turkey legs, turkey wings, turkey breasts. Choose whatever you like. We cooked wings. Two large wings with lots of lean, very tender meat and very tasty.

Turkey Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • ~600 gr/ 1.3 lbs turkey
  • 1 shot olive oil
  • 1 shot red wine
  • 2 onions, sliced​​
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 tin/ 350 gr/ 12 oz chopped tomatoes
  • 1 star anise
  • 4-5 drops of tabasco
  • salt & pepper
Wash the turkey pieces and pat dry them on kitchen paper.
Put olive oil in a saucepan to get hot and add the meat.
Turn the meat from all sides to sauté well.
When it get a golden color, add the wine and leave on medium heat to evaporate the alcohol.
Add the chopped onion, the star anise…
…grated carrot, salt and pepper…
…tomato sauce and tabasco.
Add water during cooking if needed.
Cover the saucepan and cook the food over low heat until soften and absorb the juices (~45′).

Mashed potatos and carrots

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 2 medium carrots
  • ½ shot olive oil
  • ½ shot of evaporated milk
  • salt pepper paprika
In small saucepan, boil 5 medium potatoes, peeled and 2 medium carrots until tender.
Drain and mash the vegetables…
…add ½ shot of olive oil and ½ shot of evaporated milk. Salt, paprika and pepper to make the mashed potatos delicious.
