Chocolate Pudding

Chocolate - and everything that contains it - is loved by most. If you are one of them try this cake.
Very easy, without eggs with butter, fluffy and delicious. The sauce is flowing through the cake and makes it juicy.
The ingredients of the sauce are placed on top of the ingredients for the base but during baking the sauce gets at the bottom of the cake.

Chocolate Pudding

Base (6 Servings)

  • 160 gr/ 5.6 oz flour
  • 150 gr/ 5.3 oz sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 150 ml/ 5 fl oz milk
  • some vanilla
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
Mix well the dry ingredients of the base with a fork.
With the same fork, mix the milk and vegetable oil in this mixture. You do not need the mixer, the dough is quite firm.
Grease a cake tin or a square one 20×20cm/ 8′×8′ and put the dough base.


  • 220 gr/ 7.8 oz sugar
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 200 ml/ 7 fl oz water in room temperature
  • a little icing sugar for sprinkling
In the same bowl, mix again with a fork, all the ingredients of the sauce.
Carefully pour the mixture over the pastry base…
…over the surface of the form.
Bake in the oven at 170°C/ 325°F/ Gas Mark 3 for 35′-45′. Do not let it overcook.
Leave it on a rack to cool and turned it over. Optionally sprinkle a little icing sugar.
