Peach Yogurt Mousse
Light, fresh, delicious dessert of yoghurt, pleasant to consume, especially after a heavy meal when we prefer a light and refreshing dessert.
Of course, it can be enjoyed, just as well, any other time we choose. It is light and becomes lighter if you use low-fat yoghurt.

Peach Yogurt Mousse

Ingredients (6 servings)

  • 200 ml/ 7 fl oz sour cream
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 400 gr/ 14 oz yoghurt
  • 100 gr/ 3.5 oz jelly powder
  • 1 large tin (840 gr/ 30 oz) with canned peaches and syrup
  • 1 glass of water (250 ml)
Drain the fruit from the syrup. The syrup should fill a glass about 250-300 ml/ 8-10 fl oz.
Boil the water in a saucepan. Once boiled pour into a bowl and in that dissolve the jelly powder. Stir well to dissolve. Add, stirring the syrup from the can.
In a large bowl, beat the sour cream with powdered sugar.
Add the yoghurt…
…and beat a little more to smooth the mixture.
To this mix, add the dissolved jelly with the syrup.
Beat again with the mixer.
Cut the peaches into small pieces and add them to the mix with a spoon. The mixture is watery. It will thicken when refrigerated.
We can leave aside 2-3 peach halves for the final decoration.
Divide the mixture into bowls, or glasses, or put it in a large glass serving bowl. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours, minimum. The quantity is 6 glasses of 300 ml/ 10 fl oz.
Peach Yogurt Mousse An easy dessert with the smooth texture of yogurt and tasty flesh of the peach. A very enjoyable combination, in this light and digestive dessert.
