Pizza Dough-Easy Pizza
Pizza dough is easy and unique, and the preparation of it is required only two ingredients, which are worshiped for convenience but also for taste. Two, yes only two components, neither of which is water. Just flour and yogurt!
Circulated widely in international, online, culinary events and everyone is talking about a small miracle.
I test it, enjoyed it and present it to you. At the end I added a few more of rocket leaves, so as to remind us of the colors of the "Tricolore", the Italian flag -as tend Italians to call- and mentally to travel at the home origin. Starting from there, this unique flat bread, which with a little tomato sauce and a little cheese, made an international career!

Ingredients (4 small pizzas)

  • 300 gr (10.6 oz) self raising flour
  • 250 gr (8.8 oz) drained yogurt
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp corn flour for dusting
In the bowl of a fixed mixer with the hook attachment, unite the flour, salt and yogurt. Let it knead at low speed for 8'-10'.
The result will be a very sticky dough which is not kneaded or molded with hands.
Pour, using a silicone spatula onto the desktop, sprinkled with a little cornmeal.
Sprinkle a little cornmeal on top, to make it easy to move and to configure it, and cut into 2 or 4 equal parts.


  • 100 gr (3.5 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 ball fresh mozzarella, drained well
  • 50 gr (1.8 oz) grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Sprinkle your fingers with cornmeal (you do this often). Transfer each piece of dough and place it at the oven dish, lined with greaseproof paper. Inside there shape/ format by your hand, in a as round as possible plate.
Put in the center a tablespoon sauce…
…that you spread with the back of the spoon onto the doughty disk without going to the edges. On top of the sauce spread the mozzarella into small pieces. Sprinkle with a little grated cheese, if desired, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F, Gas: 5.7) for 15'-20' in the last rack with resistors.
When pizzas are baked, open the oven, touching the pan onto the opened door and drag the greaseproof paper carefully along with the pizzas to the bottom of the oven for 1'-2', so as to perfectly cook underneath.

In pizzas usually we put many different ingredients, and we overload it. This dough is simple, thin crust and so it does not need to be too loaded. The less ingredients the more delicious pizza.
It can be done with the simplest form and is exceptional. Dough thin and some homemade tomato sauce on top and nothing else.
If it was summer I would suggest to you to put on top of the dough fresh figs sliced, for another taste!
If you are a student or do not have a mixer create your pizza dough with less yogurt, making the mixture less sticky and knead by hand for 10 minutes. All remaining unchanged.
