Chicken Drumsticks
Roasted chicken drumsticks on the grill or baked in the oven can be tasty and juicy enough if we marinate them in spicy ingredients.
For us the best accompaniment to this dish is the Oven French Fries (fried potatoes). Tasty and easy to prepare the dish, which can be done with any pieces/parts we prefer from the chicken: breasts, thighs, wings.

Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 shot olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece fresh ginger, crushed
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp coarse-grain mustard
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) potatoes
Wash and pat dry with paper towels, the chicken drumsticks.
Put in a large bowl and pour over the remaining ingredients, except the potatoes.
Mix well to wrap the drumsticks with the mixture of ingredients.
Cover the bowl and let it stand at least 1 hour in the fridge, ideally overnight.
When it is to bake, lay with foil the oven shelf and put them in series and a short distance between them.
Bake in convection oven at 180°C (356°F, Gas:4.2) for ~40 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Do not turn them.
At the same time prepare the potatoes and put them in the same oven at the grill, cut into thin slices, sprinkled with the same ingredients that we put on drumsticks.
